Shop Big Al's Pets for low prices on aquarium accessories. Find sealing gaskets by Eheim for a watertight seal on your motor!

Product Description

Eheim's sealing gasket makes a watertight seal in between your tank's main motor head and filter body. This rubber seal ring prevents water and pressure leaks, keeping your motor system running at its most efficient capability. Improper sealing can lead to flooding and ineffective motor function.

Timely maintenance is important to extend your motor's life. Be sure to check the condition of the main seal ring every time you do filter maintenance. If it isn't sealing correctly, appears stretched out or has other noticeable wear and tear, replace gasket immediately. Preventative maintenance is always highly recommended. With Eheim's low prices, you can buy two or three and never be without a seal.

Fits models 2226-2229/2026/2028.

More about the brand

EHEIM is a leading manufacturer of aquariums, aquarium parts and fish keeping equipment. Founded in Germany by Gunther Eheim, the company has been a leader in the aquarium hobby for over 55 years. From aquarium filters and air pumps to LED lighting and fish food, EHEIM has grown to become a household brand for fish keepers and aquarium enthusiasts all over the world. Along with its subsidiaries Mueller and Pfleger, the company specializes in designing and manufacturing internal and external filters, hang-on filters, all associated filter media (mechanical, biological, chemical, and adsorptive), water pumps, air pumps, fish feeders, gravel cleaners, aquarium and terrarium starter kits, as well as ReeflexUV UV sterilizers and Jäger aquarium heaters. Fun fact: Today's widely used suction-based aquarium filter was invented by EHEIM back in 1963, when they combined the functionality of a centrifugal pump with a water cleaning tank.
