Is it machine washable, or does it simply require soaking in Hydrogen Peroxide and hot water to kill all the algae spores trapped on its surface?

Good god. Why stick your entire hand in there when you could use an algae scraper that comes on a telescopic handle.

MPWALL Hard to really hit those places where algae forms in between decor, live plants and its your hand, you can do almost anything in that mitt lol. Also it reduces a chance of slapping a fish by accident….dont ask me how i know…

To get to all areas of the aquarium. I personally use the Kent Marine Algae Scraper with the stainless blade for algae removal and then use the algae mitt to go over the corners where there is silicone.

I have been looking at this product at my LFS and may pick one up now. I have other scrapers and even the magnet scrubber but still have to go in every now and than for a finger nail scrap to get off some of that pesky algae. Thanks for sharing.
